Gail Mallimson is a specialist in marketing and communications strategy and visual and written storytelling. She has a BFA from SUNY Purchase, where she studied communications, painting, and photography. After college, Gail worked as a professional photographer and received an MA from NYU, where she studied documentary film. Her years as an editor, director, and producer of films and videos have given her the ability to refine real-life stories and express the truth and emotion behind them. She is passionate about human rights and equity, education, and the environment.

Gail currently works at San Francisco State University, where she is Director of Development Communications & Donor Relations. She lives in Bernal Heights, San Francisco.
