California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS)

Gail Mallimson was Associate Director of Communications at CIIS for over a year. While there, she worked closely with faculty, staff, and administrators to create engaging online profiles for many of the university's 24 departments. Below are before and after snapshots of the main webpage for the Community Mental Health program, which Gail rewrote and redesigned with the faculty chair of this department.

This is what the webpage looked like before:

And this is what it looked like after Gail rewrote, redesigned, and designed infographics.

CIIS Mother Daughter Tale

Gail Mallimson wrote this article as part of CIIS' content marketing strategy. Under Gail's leadership, the Communications Department staff and consultants posted an average of two news articles to the website each week, attracting interest in the school's programs and establishing the university's faculty as thought leaders in their fields.

Email marketing for CIIS included instituting a university newsletter, strategizing an email program for the Admissions Department to inspire potential students to enroll, and writing/designing emails for the development team to encourage sponsorship and donations.

While at CIIS, Gail designed several infographics for use on the website, in advertising, and in presentations.

Work done for the Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research (part of CIIS) included creating a microsite, digital advertising, and the creation of a video.
