California Institute of Integral Studies

Gail Mallimson was Associate Director of Communications and Marketing Manager at CIIS, a post-graduate university in San Francisco. At CIIS, her team managed and redesigned two websites, increased social media following exponentially, introduced technology to increase efficiency, ran email marketing campaigns, and produced several news articles a month. She also created content including infographics, photos, and videos.


American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Gail Mallimson was Interim Marketing Manager for ACTCM for 5 months. In this role, she oversaw website improvements, managed marketing for the college and acupuncture clinic, and increased Facebook following by 20%. She also project-managed and created digital and print collaterals for ACTCM, and was successful in obtaining several high-profile articles about the college in national and international press.


Bay Area Arborist Cooperative (BAAC)

Heart's Eye created a new responsive and SEO optimized site for this cooperative of 13 arborists. We worked with the cooperators to rebrand the organization with a new logo, and created and managed Google Adwords CPC advertising. Job inquiries increased by 1000% in the first four months after the website went live, and continue to be robust.


San Bruno Mountain Watch

Services included rebranding, website design, grant writing, press release writing and management, fundraising, outreach, social media, video production, and photography. Donations increased 110% over one year, and social media followers increased by 70% over three years. Heart's Eye's grant proposals raised over $40,000 for San Bruno Mountain Watch.


Artisans Landscape

Heart's Eye Communications created new branding for Artisans Landscape, a locally-owned landscape company, and created a responsive website on Squarespace. We also worked on digital marketing campaigns, including AdWords CPC, social media promotion, and email remarketing. Leads increased by 200% over 2 years.


Schmidt Ocean Institute

Schmidt Ocean Institute hired Heart's Eye Communications to document their design/build of a deep sea Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) intended for exploration in the Pacific Ocean. We created a series of 9 documentary style videos about the process, used in outreach and education


The Edge of the Wild Documentary Film

Gail Mallimson produced this award-winning feature documentary in 2015. In addition to making the film, she designed and promoted a website and an outreach program for nonprofits wishing to show the film. The film was also used to raise awareness and develop support for the Endangered Species Act.
